History

The Cafe opened its doors in February 2006 with the support of a grant from Adur in Partnership and the Co-operative Society [Fair trade]. for the first 5 months it was staffed by a team of volunteers [led by Andy Bray - who was at that time a volunteer as well]. 

During the ensuing 8 months, the Cafe continued to run but since October 2007, it has gone on from strength to strength and this is due to the enthusiastic input by our Cafe Manager, Wendy [who was employed by Southlanders], and has brought a willingness to work above and beyond the "call of duty"
