We welcome all first time mums with a child under 6 months of age
(Other Mums are also welcome but due to safety reasons, we cannot accommodate
toddlers or older children at this group).
This is an informal group where friendships can be forged and similar experiences can be shared with other mums.
 
 
Breastfeeding Support in the area:
 
Breastfeeding offers both you and your baby the best start.  Your midwife and health visitors will support you in 
breastfeeding your baby.  Free advice can also be gained from the following:
 
    MILK!  Lancing Children & Family Centre - 42 North Road, Lancing.
        Thursday 10.00 a.m.-12 noon.  Breastfeeding group run by peer supporters
 
    MILK!  Kingston Buci Children & Family Centre - Middle Road, Shoreham-by-Sea.
       Friday 9.30 a.m.-11.30 a.m. Breastfeeding group run by peer supporters
 
 
Healthy Start
 
If you are on income support or you or your family get income-based Jobseeker's Allowance or Child Tax
Credit and have an annual family income of £15,575 or less (2008/09), or you  are pregnant and under
18 years of age, you probably qualify for free milk, fruit, vegetables and vitamins for you and your family.
