I became a PCSO in October 2007, previous to this I worked for the NHS in Brighton as a Child Protection Administrator and as a Playworker for the Brighton and Hove Inclusion Project with children aged 5-13.
I decided to join Sussex Police as a PCSO to be out in the open, away from the 9-5 desk job and to meet a wider variety of people from all walks of life. As a PCSO I hope to make a difference in helping to tackle low level crime in the community and provide visible reassurance to the public, I also hope to build better links between Sussex Police and the young people in the area, having worked with a variety children and young people I am aware of some of the issues out in the community regarding this and I think the PCSO role is key in breaking down the barriers.
I hope that if you see me out and about you will pop over to say hello and if you have any queries or issues I will be happy to help!
I am currently the PCSO for Southlands Ward, you can contact me by calling 0845 60 70 999 x 26103 or to email me go to www.sussex.police.uk and look me up under local officer.
If you would like to know more about what i have been up to, what i am going to be doing in the near future and what i happening in your local community from a policing perspective take a look at my blog.
