Over 50’s Health and Well Being Programme

10 Feb – 31 March 2009

 

Southlanders [in partnership with Age Concern & West Sussex Adult & Community Learning Service] will be organising a short program of mixed activities promoting ways of maintaining a healthy lifestyle for the Over 50s on a budget.

The programme will contain a mixture of sessions as diverse as “Healthy Eating on a Budget”, “Understanding Food Labels” and “Gentle Exercise”, and will be open to all local residents.

Several other organisations which offer support to this age group have also been invited to give short presentations during the programme

The programme will be held at our Community Cafe, Wilmot Road,

SHOREHAM BY SEA, BN436BU.

Details of Course Times:

Course Dates:             10 Feb – 31 Mar

Times:

      Morning Session:        10am – 12noon

      Afternoon Session:      1300 - 1500

[Lunch will be available from the Community Cafe]

Course Registration will begin at 0900 on the 10th Feb at

 

the Community Cafe with free refreshments being available between 0900 & 1000.

Support for the course was secured by Southlanders from fit as a fiddle, a Big Lottery supported project delivered by Age Concern.
