Come along and make your views known about how
best to access free training that is available to staff
and volunteers of local voluntary / community groups
The Sussex Community Internet Project (SCIP) and the Working Together Project (WTP) have Big Lottery funding to provide free ICT and other training to paid and unpaid staff of local voluntary and community groups.
Together they will be hosting a 'Consultation / Taster Session at Milward Court, Wilmot Road, Shoreham by Sea - prior to the next Southlanders Management Committee meeting - to which representatives from other local groups are invited.
OUTLINE PROGRAMME...
5.00 - 5.15 Introductions/Welcome
5.15 - 6.00 Abridged versions of some available Embedded IT courses; e.g.
• "Fundraising & The Internet";
• "Building A DIY Website";
• "Effective Administration".
(Note: depending on numbers on the night the programme may consist of either hands-on exercises on laptops, or a presentation of some examples of the types of courses that can be run. Hand-outs will be provided).
6.00 - 6.15 Questions & Answer session. 6.15- 6.45 Training Needs Analysis exercise. 6:45 - 6:55 Results of TNA.
